San Diego State Aztecs basketball is now ranked fifth among all NCAA basketball teams, according to the latest USA Today Coaches Poll and Associated Press Top 25.
The #5 ranking gives the Aztecs their second highest ranking in school history. In 2011 the team was ranked #4, according to San Diego State.
The 18-1 Aztecs only loss of the season was to the #1 ranked University of Arizona Wildcats.
will play unranked Colorado State at 4:05 p.m. Saturday at home at Viejas Arena. A win will give coach Steve Fisher the 300th win of his career.
