Charlotte Schriefer, 76, Dies; She Was a Long-time School Teacher
She taught at Sherman Elementary School in San Diego. After retirement she enjoyed taking classes in La Mesa.
Charlotte I. Schriefer, a long-time San Diego elementary school teacher, died May 20, according to Legacy.com. She was 76.
The San Diego State graduate was at Sherman Elementary School in Sherman Heights for 33 years, until her retirement in 1991.
She enjoyed exercise classes at two La Mesa sites – the La Mesa Senior
Center and Sharp Grossmont Hospital's Brier Patch campus.
Services were held Saturday at First United Methodist in La Mesa.
