Janet Bopp, 75, Dies; She Was a Former La Mesa Resident

After marrying, she resided in Colorado and Arizona.


Janet L. Bopp, a former La Mesa resident, has died, according to the Greeley Tribune. She was 75.

She retired from Eastman Kodak in Colorado in the early 1990s and moved with her husband to Arizona in 2005.

Her family, the Ginns, moved to La Mesa in the mid-1950s and she stayed until 1958, when she married Alex Bopp. The couple moved to Colorado when he left the Navy.

The Minnesota native still has siblings in La Mesa. Later in life she most enjoyed sewing trinkets for her three granddaughters. Services are planned for Tuesday in Greeley, Col.
