La Mesa Jersey Mike's Store Donates Sales To Charity For A Day
Support Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego by grabbing a meal from Jersey Mike's in La Mesa on March 31.
LA MESA, CA — The La Mesa Jersey Mike's Subs store is among 51 San Diego area locations donating 100 percent of sales to Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego on Wednesday.
Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego is a nonprofit, 505-bed pediatric-care facility dedicated to excellence in care, research and teaching.
The effort is part of the sandwich franchise chain's Month of Giving, which has raised $32 million for local charities since 2011. Jersey Mike's hopes to shatter its own record and raise more than $8 million this year, the company said in a news release.

Jersey Mike's has been taking donations all month for selected charities.
"All sales from all locations" will be donated on Wednesday, according to the company. Owners will even donate their money to the cause so that every dollar that flows in on Wednesday will go to charity.

Restaurant owners pick the charities and identify organizations "that support local neighborhoods and build a stronger community," the company said.
