La Mesa Man Killed in Colorado Motorcycle Crash
Trifone Lessa was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, authorities said.
A La Mesa man died in Colorado Tuesday when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding on a curve, according to the Coloradoan.com.
Trifone Lessa, 63, was on a mountain road near Fort Collins, Col. Authorities said he was not wearing a helmet.
He was riding a Harley-Davidson. His son, who was unhurt, was with him, according to the report.
Speed also contributed to the 3:30 p.m. crash, but alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have been involved.
