LA MESA, CA — La Mesa resident Craig Anderson finished second in a local Member's Show of the San Diego Watercolor Society.

Anderson’s painting, “Sounds of the Street,” depicting a man playing a guitar on a street, was selected out of more than 300 entries in the competition that took place virtually earlier this month.

Anderson moved to San Diego from New York in 1988 and paints exclusively in transparent watercolor, according to a news release. His work has been shown in private and corporate collections across the nation.
