Apartment Building on University Sells for More Than $4M

An Encinitas firm bought the 30,000-square-foot property, which has 33 units.

A La Mesa apartment building on University Avenue has sold for $4.45 million, according to the San Diego Daily Transcript.

The Racquet Club Apartments, at 7471 University Ave., was bought by an Encinitas firm, VKS 4th Avenue LLC, from KGC L.P.

The 30-year-old building, according to the report, is a 30,250-square-foot complex with two three-bedroom units, 13 two-bedroom units, 17 one-bedroom units and one studio.
