Buster Posey's Lamorinda Home

LAMORINDA, CA — Who doesn't love Buster Posey? Monday night, he hit a double and single while notching a run and two RBIs. And then there was the face-plant into third base in the top of the 11th. It left a mark, or two.

It's been an ugly road trip. The Giants started the second half of the season with a commanding lead. Now, not-so-much. (But it's an even year!)

The Giants will return home this week for a well-earned home stand.

And Posey will be home right here in his comfortable Lafayette home.

Forget about that whole East Bay MUD water wasters list. No, the reservoirs aren't filled, but the name-and-shame era of counting water units has ended. (Buster was hardly alone. There were 315 Lafayette residents and just under 300 in Orinda on the list with Posey.)

Posey purchased his home for $4.6 million in 2013. It was recently featured by Fortune in a list of Multimillion-Dollar Estates of Baseball's All-Stars.
