Caldecott Tunnel: Bore 4 Closure

The bore will be closed for routine maintenance work.

LAMORINDA, CA — Plan ahead if you need to pass through the Caldecott Tunnel.

Caltrans will close the #4 bore on Highway 24 for maintenance work.

The closure begins at 11:30 p.m., Monday, with plans to reopen at 4 a.m., Tuesday.

The other bores will remain open to traffic.

Caltrans advises drivers to expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
