Crime in Orinda: Needles, Burglaries and Child Molestation
Last week's police activities in Orinda.

Last week, Orinda police made an arrest for child molestation. That arrest has been sent to the District Attorney's office for prosecution.Â
Arrests were also made for probation violation, possession of a stolen bicycle and needle, and two arrests for driving under the influence.Â
There were residential burglaries on Honey Hill, Charles Hill and Brookside. There were two petty thefts on Orinda View and Donna Maria. A car was stolen in the Wilder area.Â

Police are checking local pawnshops for stolen goods. And the investigation division has filed two elder abuse cases with the DA.Â
