Early Diagnosis Foundation COVID-19 Wellness Kits

The Early Diagnosis Foundation, founded by Greg and Marty Woehrle, is pleased to announce the availability of its COVID-19 Wellness Kit, designed to promote healthy practices to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus.

Greg and Marty were motivated to create the Early Diagnosis Foundation (EDF) in 2018 based on their challenging journey to find a diagnosis for the myriad debilitating conditions Marty endured over the years. After five years and numerous misdiagnoses, Marty was told she had Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Doctors eventually made a diagnosis of the more severe Lupus Nephritis; however, in the interim, compromised kidney function and quality of life brought devastating physical and emotional trauma to Marty and her family. With gratitude once her disease was effectively managed, Marty and Greg reflected on their journey, realizing how beneficial early diagnosis could have changed Marty’s medical course. Then imagining how early diagnosis would benefit many people, they embarked on channeling their energy toward an early diagnosis program so that others might avoid the personal suffering from debilitating symptoms undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.

Although COVID-19 is a threat to everyone, individuals impacted by an autoimmune disease, such as Lupus, are at higher risk of contracting the illness if exposed. With proper preventative measures, however, we can limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and protect our loved ones and those others most at risk. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of EDF’s COVID-19 Wellness Kits is contributed to the Lupus Foundation and to furthering the Early Diagnosis Foundation’s ongoing efforts to diagnose early symptoms and fight the onset of chronic disease.

Each kit includes a comfortable mask (choose from one of three EDF mask designs or a child sized camouflage mask), an adjustable mask lanyard, hand sanitizer gel, packet of ten sanitizer wipes, EDF chapstick and an EDF stylus pen for “no contact” use on touch pad surfaces.
