Excessive Heat Watch Issued: Nat'l Weather Service
Be ready to deal with triple-digit heat. Here's when the ice cream-melting temps will hit.
BAY AREA — The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for parts of the Bay Area from 11 a.m. Saturday until 11 p.m. Sunday, with temperatures peaking at 105 degrees.
Overnight low temperatures are only expected to cool into the mid 60s to the mid 70s.
The Weather Service recommends that everyone drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned building, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors who may be vulnerable.
