FBI Agent's Gun, Badge, Credentials Stolen In Lamorinda
Local police and the FBI are investigating.
LAMORINDA, CA — A gun, a law enforcement badge, and credentials were stolen from an FBI Special Agent's vehicle on Lafayette Circle in Lafayette at about 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, an FBI spokeswoman said.
The gun is a .40 caliber Glock 22 pistol.
"The FBI, in partnership with the Lafayette Police Department, is actively working to locate and recover these items in the interest of public safety," the FBI said in a statement.
