Food Truck Thursdays Return To Orinda

Each Thursday evening there will be food trucks and a beer and wine truck. Click HERE for the Taste of the World Truck Line Up!

Taste of the World Market food trucks returned this year to the parking area in front of the Orinda Community Center, at 28 Orinda Way, offering a way for people to socialize in a community setting while enjoying an array of foods from different cultures.

The food trucks will be on hand from 5 to 8 p.m. each Thursday nightthrough October. Taste of the World will supply five food trucks, a dessert truck and a beer and wine truck, along with family games and music - sometimes performed live and sometimes via a DJ.

Taste of the World will also provide two trucks during the Orinda Summer Concert Series, each Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. between mid-June and mid-August at Orinda Community Park.

What started in 2017 as a successful pilot program on Thursday nights is now becoming an Orinda staple. The City Council last year approved a contract with Taste of the World Market, a food truck operator based in Contra Costa County, to provide the truck concessions February-October through 2022.
