Gaels Beat Middle Tennessee State, Advance to Round Two

After beating Middle Tennessee State in Ohio Tuesday night 67-54, the St Mary's Gaels will head north to Michigan to face Memphis on Thursday. 

According to USA Today, having to face Gonzaga three times concealed how good the Gaels actually are. The money quote: "Sharing a conference these days with Gonzaga is like sharing a bathtub with a piranha."
