The city of Lafayette is co-sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday with the American Red Cross.
Maybe it's true that you can't fight city hall, but on Tuesday, you can give blood there.Â
The city of Lafayette and the American Red Cross are co-sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lafayette City Hall, 3675 Mt. Diablo Blvd.Â
One blood donor can provide blood for three recipients.
But if altruism won't get you there, consider this. The bakery SusieCakes is offering a free cupcake to all donors, and Powell's Sweet Shoppe is offering a $10 gift card as a raffle prize.Â
Walk-ins are welcome, or visit the Red Cross website to make an appointment.Â
