High School Football Playoffs: Campolindo Defeats Acalanes

Campolindo High defeated Acalanes High, 38-14, at home on Friday night to advance to the North Coast Section Division III football semifinals.

The second seeded Cougars took a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime. They extended that margin to 28-7 over the seventh seeded Dons in the third quarter and then cruised to victory.

It's the second time this season Campolindo has beaten Acalanes. They won, 24-14, at Acalanes High on Sept. 27.

Acalanes finishes the season with an 8-4 record.

Campolindo, which is now 11-0, will play at home next Friday night against third ranked El Cerrito. That's a rematch of the Sept. 20 game between the two games that Campolindo won, 42-27.
