High School Football Playoffs: Miramonte, Acalanes Win First Round Game
Acalanes will play Campolindo next weekend while Miramonte takes on Northgate

Miramonte High and Acalanes High both won their first round games in the North Coast Section football playoffs on Saturday.
In the Division II competition. third seeded Miramonte rolled over 14th ranked Tennyson High, 54-25, on Saturday afternoon.
Miramonte led 27-13 at half and put the game away with three touchdowns in the third quarter. You can read more about the game on maxpreps.com.
The Matadors are now 9-2 on the season. They will play sixth-ranked Northgate High at their home stadium at 7 p.m. Saturday.
In the Division III playoffs on Sunday evening, seventh ranked Acalanes High crushed 10th ranked Sonoma Valley, 49-10.
Acalanes, now 8-3 on the season, will take on second ranked Campolindo at the Cougars' home field on Friday, Nov. 22.
Campolindo had a first round bye. They finished the regular season with a 10-0 record.
