Lamorinda Students Graduate From Emerson College

The commencement ceremony was held at Boston's Fenway Park.

LAMORINDA, CA — The commencement ceremony for the Emerson College Class of 2021 was certainly memorable — it was held in storied Fenway Park.

The college conferred 950 undergraduate degrees and more than 470 graduate degrees on May 2. The college also honored the Class of 2020 graduates in an additional ceremony at Fenway Park on May 2.

  • Tanner Browne of Moraga received a BFA in Acting
  • Finn Ehringer of Orinda graduated in December 2020 and received a BA in Writing, Lit and Publishing

Former Emerson President Lee Pelton gave the commencement address at Fenway Park, and Emmy-nominated writer, producer, and alum Stefani Robinson '14 delivered the address during a virtual ceremony on May 9. Both ceremonies featured remarks by former President Lee Pelton and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Michaele Whelan, student speeches and awards, video montages, and recognition of each graduate.

Emerson College is based in Boston, Massachusetts, opposite the historic Boston Common and in the heart of the city's Theatre District. Emerson has 3,700 undergraduates and 1,400 graduate students from across the United States and 50 countries.
