One Reason You Should Read Lamorinda Patch: Fewer U-Turns

As we reported last week, the City of Lafayette has closed Moraga Road Monday and Tuesday, while they did some road and vegetation maintenance. 

It seems that not everyone got that message. A ten-minute observation near the intersection of Moraga Road and Old Jonas Road, where the street was closed, saw over two dozen cars drive up to the barrier, make a u-turn, and go the other way. 

The street should be reopened tomorrow, and better than ever. Let us know what you think about the work the city did these past two days on the road and its environs.
