Orinda Police Investigate Residential Burglary

The Orinda Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred Monday morning on the 400 block of Camino Sobrante.

Police were dispatched to the home at about 11 a.m. Officers arrived minutes later but were not able to locate the suspects, who smashed out a window to gain entry, according to a news release.

The suspect vehicle is described as a gold-colored older model Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. The driver is described as a Hispanic female adult wearing large sunglasses, police said. Her hair was in a ponytail. The news release did not state what, if anything, was stolen.
