Orinda Police Seek Suspect In Break-In Of 4 Downtown Businesses

Police believe that the same male suspect broke into the four businesses on Moraga Way between midnight and 2 a.m. and left with cash.

ORINDA, CA – Burglaries at four downtown businesses that took place in a two-hour stretch early Sunday morning have Orinda Police on the lookout for a single suspect as well as information that could lead to his arrest, police said Monday.

The break-ins took place between midnight and 2 a.m. on Sunday on Moraga Way and Brookwood Road in Orinda’s downtown district, police said.

In each case, police believe that the suspect entered the business after breaking the glass of the front door. The male suspect is being sought for all four burglaries, police said. After breaking in, the suspect took cash and left, police said.

The Sheriff’s Department lab has investigated each location and processed each business for evidence that could lead police the suspect.
