A car with four teens—two boys and two girls—was seen at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School parking lot at around 1 a.m. On questioning, the officer noticed that they had been drinking. The kids were taken to the police station, and their parents were notified. Not the best way to start the summer.
On the 300 block of Moraga Road, a man said he witnessed several teens smoking marijuana in the parking lot. When he told them he was calling the police, they got into their car and left, hitting a parked car on the way out.
On Hammond Place, a resident told police that she found her spare key, which is normally hidden under the mat, in the lock of her door. Police searched the area and found no suspicious people.

A van was reported stolen on Miramonte Drive.
On Augusta Drive, a resident called the police to find out where he could park his car, which was for sale. He was advised of the law stating the city council must approve such an action.
On Southard Court, a man reported that his credit card was being used for over $10,000 worth of charges all over the state, which he never made. He said he still had the credit card in his possession, and believed he was a victim of a credit card skimmer.
