Ugly Evening Commute On I-580, Highway 24

LAMORINDA, CA — The evening commute is off to an ugly start on eastbound Highway 24 in Oakland, caused by an injury accident.

A sig-alert due to the accident was canceled t 4:10 p.m. by the California Highway Patrol, but one look at the map above shows that the damage has already been done. Traffic is at a crawl for miles.
