What's Closed in Lamorinda on Memorial Day

You know the drill - Memorial Day is a time when most Lamorindans hit the road for a three-day adventure. But for those of you remaining behind, here is a list of things you can't do until Tuesday. 

Lafayette City Hall, Moraga Town Offices and Orinda City Hall: closed Monday.

Lafayette Public Library, Moraga Public Library and Orinda Library: closed Monday.

U.S. Post Offices: closed Monday. Automated Postal Centers will be open for buying stamps and mailing letters or packages. Find locations online here.

Acalanes School District, Lafayette School District, Orinda School District and Moraga School District: no school Monday.

Parks and Recreation Departments in Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda: closed Monday.

Lamorinda Police and Fire Departments will be responding to calls but administrative offices will be closed Monday.

BART: will be running a Sunday service on Memorial Day. Get the schedule here.

Save your quarters: Memorial Day is a parking meter holiday.
