2 Arrested For Package Thefts In Larkspur: Police
Police recovered 16 stolen packages, and found meth and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, officials said.

LARKSPUR, CA — The Central Marin Police Authority arrested two Novato residents this week on suspicion of sealing packages from residences in Larkspur.
Police responded to a report about the thefts Monday afternoon at the Serenity at Larkspur Apartments. Officers were unable to find the suspects, but a citizen captured video of the suspects' vehicle and sent it to police.
Officers spotted the vehicle about an hour later in a nearby shopping center and contacted the suspects. Police recovered 16 stolen packages, and found methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.

Police arrested Chivonne Bozarth, 39, and Steven Hirai, 40, both of Novato, on suspicion of possession of stolen property and other narcotics offenses.
"Mail thefts increase dramatically during the holiday season, and the Central Marin Police Authority urges residents to have their packages shipped to a secure location," police said. "As always, we encourage citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to their local police departments."
