Burglary Suspect Taken into Custody in Corte Madera

CORTE MADERA, CA -- A man is in custody after a woman in Corte Madera found him in her car Thursday morning.

Around 8 a.m., Central Marin Police Authority officers responded to an auto burglary on the block of Mohawk Avenue.

The woman said a man was found in her Honda Pilot then left on foot. She provided officers with a physical description of the suspect, who was later found on Lakeside Drive.

Officers booked Nicholas Shawn Dillon, 33, at Marin County Jail on several misdemeanor charges, including theft from an unlocked vehicle,possession of stolen property, possession of controlled substances, and violation of probation.
