What mentor taught about success: Taught us that life’s not about winning. It’s about building character – life morals. Being leaders not just on the field but being leaders on our campus; most importantly to be leaders in our community. He taught us respect, we learned about responsibilities and most importantly we learned to trust the brother next to us.

What mentor taught about dealing with failure: That if we were to ever lose it’s a life lesson just like every other obstacle out there we face. He thought us to have sportsman ship if we’re up 60 to 0 and if we’re down 60 to 0.

Best advice from mentor: Every speech he gives is the best piece of advice the best one was: “I don’t care if you men win or lose every single game just as long as you learn character courage commitment to your team and to your brothers.”
