During a heat wave, it is important to take precautions in order to prevent serious health effects for heat-related illnesses. People are effected differently and if you're and older adult, someone who is socially isolated, or someone with chronic medical conditions or mental health conditions, you might be most vulnerable to extreme heat. Please take some time to learn some tips on preparing for the high temperatures and how to stay cool. Below are links to the CDC's Extreme Heat Guide and Marin Health and Human Services "Staying Cool and Safe in Warm Weather" tips.
