Town Slurry Seal Project – Important Schedule Update

The 2020 Preventative Maintenance Project incorporates inter-jurisdiction collaboration with Mill Valley and San Anselmo to deliver region-wide improvements for cost savings and quality delivery. This project is currently in the construction phase. Work is planned to start October 28th in Corte Madera, and that the project webpage will be frequently updated with more information as we receive updates from the Contractor.

The following streets are scheduled to receive a Slurry Seal in the next few days (SEE MAP BELOW):

The slurry seal work is planned to be completed in one day between 7:30am-5:30pm on the dates listed below. During this work the roadway will be closed to the public with the exception of emergency vehicles and there will be no access to driveways. Be advised, that the “No Parking” signs on each street list a second day of parking restrictions as a back-up should an unexpected incident occur and the work cannot be completed on the date listed. However, if everything goes as expected, the contractor will remove the “No Parking” barricades at the end of their shift once the slurry is complete to signify to all neighbors that they can park on the street again, which will withdraw the need for the second day of parking restrictions.

• Wildflower Drive (and Court) between Madera Del Presidio and Koch Road

Thursday 10/29

• Golden Hind Passage between Pacific Queen Passage and Seawolf Passage
• Spindrift Passage between Staghound Passage and Seawolf Passage
• Westward Drive (and Balclutha Drive) between Paradise Drive and Prince Royal Drive
• Koch Road between 300’ north of Parkview Circle and the cul-de-sac

Friday 10/29

• Seawolf Passage (and Spindrift cul-de-sac) between Paradise Drive and Golden Hind
• Privateer Drive between Prince Royal Drive and Balclutha Drive
• Prince Royal Drive between Endeavor Drive and Westward Drive
• Enterprise Drive between Prince Royal Drive and Windward Drive
• Madera Del Presidio (and Presidio Court) between Wildflower Drive and cul-de-sac
