Explosions Rock Boston Marathon — 4 Locals Participate in Race

There have been no names of casualties released at this time after two bombs explode at finish line. One Larkspur and three Corte Madera residents ran.

Update: 1:12 p.m.
ESPN and ABC News are reporting that the Boston Police Department has confirmed at least 23 people were injured and two were killed in the explosions the rocked the finish line at the Boston Marathon.

So far, no names of either the injured or the dead have been released.

Two large explosions rocked the finish line at the Boston Marathon today.

According to the Boston Athletic Association website, one Larkspur resident and three from Corte Madera had started the race; two had finished at the time the bombs detonated. 

Sarah Evans of Corte Madera finished at 04:00:55, less than 10 minutes before the explosion.

Ned White of Larkspur finished the race at 03:16:11. 

Heather Donnelly and Jeri Howland, both of Corte Madera did not finish before the explosions, according to tracking on the race website. 

The bombs reportedly detonated at the 4:09:00 mark of the race.
