Believe it or not, the holiday season is upon us already. That means caring, sharing, stressing and cooking. 

If you need a few tips for preparing a healthy and tasty Thanksgiving feast, join certified clinical nutritionist Sharon Meyer tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Center for Integrative Health and Wellness. The fee is $35. Taste traditional holiday and seasonal meals and discover how they can fit into your diet.

• Leonardo's Fresco: Author Ross King visits Book Passage in Corte Madera on Thursday at 7 p.m. with his novel Leonardo and the Last Supper. The story relates why Leonardo da Vinci was chosen to paint The Last Supper and how he accomplished it. 

• Children's Storytime: Let's not forget how reading is FUNdamental for children, too. There are a variety of reading groups for young children and their parents around town. Mother Goose is on the loose at the Corte Madera Library every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for storytime for babies 0-24 months old, with a parent or caregiver. The Larkspur Library offers fun for babies and toddlers, with songs, fingerplays, nursery rhymes and very short stories just right for this age group. Pottery Barn Kids, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Book Passage also offer children's storytimes.

• Heritage Preservation: Larkspur's Heritage Preservation Committee meets at City Hall Thursday at 7 p.m. Tonight's agenda includes planning for the Heritage Preservation awards and discussion of the heritage display at City Hall.
