ABC's of Growing Succulents

Noon, Marin Civic Center, Board of Supervisors, Room 330, San Rafael

Jessica Wasserman of the Marin Master Gardeners will discuss the origin of succulents and how to incorporate these beauties into your garden.  These camels of the plant world are timely additions to everyone’s plant lists because of their versatility and sustainability.  Find out how to grow and propagate them in the garden and containers, and how to keep them alive over our wet and frosty winters.

Downtown San Rafael will take on a bit of Parisian flair with street musicians, entertainment, artists and French inspired food on Friday October 11, from 5 -8 pm, during the Second Fridays "(Almost) Midnight in Paris" event.

Come to the Marin Country Mart on Friday, October 11, to hear free live jazz! Robby Elfman Trio will be playing from 6 - 9 pm in the courtyard.

Join the Book Passage treasure hunt! We’ll have gifts and surprises hidden around the store, including signed copies of Patterson’s new book. One of them—sort of like the legendary case of gold doubloons—is a note from Patterson that is good for a full set of his young adult series.

Biketoberfest-Marin 2013
