Police Briefs: Weekend Burglary and Some Serious Shoplifting

A Corte Madera resident on Key Largo Cm. discovered around 3:45 p.m. Saturday that the screen had been pulled off her back kitchen window. She called police and reported a loss of $100. 

A business on Madera Blvd. in Corte Madera reported that approximately $2,600 worth of merchandise had been stolen on Friday. An officer contacted the manger, who said there had been another theft of $450 back on May 26. There were no witnesses to either incident, but the manager told police there was a “suspicious subject” who was in the business on both days.
