Social Host Citation Issued In Corte Madera

CORTE MADERA, CA – Authorities issued a social host citation last week in Corte Madera, officials announced Monday.

Police responded to a report of a loud party at about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 20, according to the Central Marin Police Authority. Officers found minors with alcohol on the private property.

Police issued a citation for violation of Corte Madera's social host ordinance, officials said.

No other information was immediately available.

"Central Marin Police Authority has a zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking, and a social host ordinance citation will be issued each time a violation occurs," the agency said.
