Trustee Seats Available On Larkspur-Corte Madera Schools Governing Board
Applications due Nov. 1. Interviews on Nov 8.

Dr. Brett Geithman, Superintendent of the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District, announced that applications for two open seats on the Governing Board, due to the resignations of Trustees Andrea Pierpont and Sally Relova.
Applications are available on the District’s website under “LCMSD News” on the homepage or at this linkthrough the submission deadline. Completed applications must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017.
Interested persons who live within the boundaries of the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District and who are registered voters are welcome to apply for one of the two vacancies. All applications will become public record upon receipt by the District.

An informational meeting on Becoming a Trustee will be held on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Hall Middle School Library, 200 Doherty Drive, Larkspur. This meeting will review the basic roles and responsibilities of the school board and individual trustees. Superintendent Geithman will present information and Board President Andrea Pierpont and Trustee Sarah Mueller will be available to answer questions.
The candidates appointed to fill these vacancies will serve as Trustees until the next regular Governance Board election in November 2018. Candidates will be interviewed in Open Session on Nov. 8, 2017, by the three remaining Trustees.
