Can Singer Set Record With $26 Million Los Feliz Mansion?
Singer Michael Feinstein has listed for $26 million the 1920s Tudor mansion he reportedly bought for $2.1 million in 1998.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Singer Michael Feinstein and his husband Terrence Flannery are looking to sell their 1926 Los Feliz mansion for a record setting $26 million. That's 1,300 percent more than they paid for the tudor gem in 1998, according to Curbed Los Angeles.
Billed as the historic mansion that famously hosted Hollywood's glitterati, the home is where Feinstein and Flannery married in a star-studded affair in 2008. Surrounding by French gardens, the 15,391-square-foot home features breathtaking views of Los Angeles and boasts a movie theater, a screening room, a gym, a wine cella and a guest house. The home still features stunning historic details including a gorgeous carved fireplace, wainscoting, a scalloped swimming pool, and a citrus orchard.
Perched below the Griffith Observatory, the sale would set a new record eclipsing the one set by Angelina Jolie’s when she paid $24.5 million for the former Cecil B. De Mille estate, according to Curbed Los Angeles.
