19 Arrested In Illegal North OC Gambling Ring
A Garden Grove neighborhood filled with Police as officers raided the illegal gambling house.
GARDEN GROVE, CA —The quiet of a Garden Grove neighborhood was shattered Wednesday night as Garden Grove Police descended on an illegal gambling operation.
Garden Grove police arrested 19 people present inside the home where the illegal games were being played authorities said Thursday morning.
Police responded about 7 p.m. Wednesday to the 10000 block of McMichael Drive, near Brookhurst Street, and determined a residence "was in fact operating as an illegal gambling establishment," according to Sgt. Troy Haller of the Garden Grove Police Department.

Police served a search warrant and officers discovered 12 gambling machine consoles and a gun inside the home, Haller said. All were seized.
Officers arrested 19 people for illegal gambling violations and/or outstanding arrest warrants, Haller said.
