405 Freeway Reopened After Fiery Fatal Crash At Valley View
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert after a fatal crash blocked lanes in the early morning Friday.
WESTMINSTER, CA — One person was killed in a fiery crash that shut down several northbound San Diego (405) Freeway lanes Friday in Westminster.
The crash occurred at 4:54 a.m., forcing the closure of the three and four lanes of the freeway near Valley View Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shortly before 5 a.m., and it lasted until 6:30 a.m. All lanes were reopened as of 8 a.m., according to the CHP.

Details of what led to the accident were not immediately known.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
