405 Slowing After Truck Lands In Ditch

SEAL BEACH, CA — Traffic on the 405 southbound backed up through Westminster Tuesday morning following a single car collision, authorities said. The incident occurred at the 405 Freeway and the Brookhurst Street bridge, according to reports.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., a white Dodge Ram pickup truck spun into a dirt area on the right shoulder, California Highway Patrol reported. The vehicle was involved in a solo-crash, according to authorities.

A good Samaritan exited his vehicle and remained with the driver of the white truck.

"The driver was awake," according to CHP. A tow truck and emergency responders were on their way to the scene to remove the vehicle at 9 a.m.
