Book A Trip To Sponge Bob's Pineapple Above The Sea In Seal Beach
No, it's not under the sea, but VRBO and Paramount+ are giving fans a chance to take a virtual trip inside Sponge Bob & Gary's pineapple.

SEAL BEACH, CA —Welcome to Bikini Bottom, er, Seal Beach. Here, a recreation of SpongeBob SquarePants’s pineapple home under the sea further markets the U.S. debut of the feature film "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run."
From the outside, you'd never know this was a pineapple. Actually, you may recognize this as the famed Seal Beach landmark, the Water Tower House, when it isn't dressed up for Hollywood.

Produced by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon, the movie is available for Premium Video-On-Demand or on the new streaming service Paramount+. In celebration of the unique space and film, one Seal Beach first responder and their family will get the chance to visit the Pineapple Over the Sea in person.

When it isn't being a pineapple, the Seal Beach Water Tower House is a vacation rental on Vrbo that averages for about $1,000 a night. Vrbo has dubbed this the WORLD'S COOLEST VACATION RENTAL.
Originally constructed in the 1800s as a water tower to refill steam engines the site was rebuilt in the 1940s, and slated to be torn down in the 1980s. A group of locals launched the "Save our Water Tower" campaign. Fully restored in 2017, The Water Tower is one of Southern California's first landmarks, and yes, the views are spectacular.
