Buena Park Road Construction At Knott Avenue, Closures

Drivers, be advised, a road closure overnight will last until 6 a.m. Friday morning along Knott Avenue.

BUENA PARK, CA — Drivers, be advised:

Knott Avenue from Artesia Boulevard to Cate Drive was scheduled for closure overnight, Thursday.

Firestone Boulevard from Artesia Boulevard to Knott Avenue would also be closed during that time, officials say.

A concrete pour for a new I-5 Santa Ana Freeway retaining wall is the reason, a spokesperson from Caltrans said.

The closure was scheduled to start at 10 p.m. Thursday and last until 6 a.m. Friday, according to officials.

"Use alternate routes if driving in this area," the Caltrans spokesperson advised.
