Burlington To Move Into Former Toys 'R' Us Space In Seal Beach
The discount-retailer is set to open in the fall at The Shops at Rossmoor.
SEAL BEACH, CA —Retailing giant Burlington is set this fall to take over the former Toys 'R' Us locale at The Shops at Rossmoor in Seal Beach, according to management.
With it array of designer items at discount prices, the business will occupy the 45,000-square-foot space at the shopping complex, located off the I-405 freeway between Lampson and Katella on Seal Beach Boulevard.
“The addition of a national, off-price retailer such as Burlington speaks volumes about the growth and popularity of The Shops at Rossmoor, as well as the convenience we provide to shoppers with our freeway-close location,” said Janice Scott, general manager of The Shops at Rossmoor.

New Jersey-based Burlington takes pride in offering an assortment of such name-brand merchandise as apparel, accessories, shoes, home décor, beauty and baby products up to 60 percent off other retailers’ prices, according to management.

In January 2018, Toys 'R' Us announced it was shuttering stores in California and nationwide, following bankruptcy proceedings.
The Shops at Rossmoor, an outdoor complex, also plays host to such popular establishments as Talbots, Kohl’s, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Ulta Beauty, Chipotle Mexican Grill,
California Pizza Kitchen, Panera Bread, In-N-Out Burger and Sprouts Farmers Market.
