Flag Football Playoffs: a Massive Marathon
Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Friday Night Lights youth playoffs start at 4 p.m. today: 1,452 players, 182 teams, 132 games.

Droves of young flag football players will compete at Oak Middle School in Los Alamitos today for what's being touted as "the largest one-night, one-location youth football event in the U.S."
It's the opening night of the fall season playoffs for the Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Fight Night Lights Youth Flag Football League.
The first 14 games start at 4 p.m., and 1,452 players—representing 182 teams—in first through eighth grades will compete Friday. The last games—14 of 132 for the day—begin at 9:30 p.m. By 10:30 p.m., 134 teams will have been eliminated.
