Garden Grove Boulevard Closed Due To Gas Leak

A gas leak has prompted a road closure at Garden Grove Boulevard and Brookhurst Street, Friday.

GARDEN GROVE, CA —A gas leak in the area of Garden Grove Boulevard and Brookhurst Avenue led to a road closure at that location, midday, Friday.

Both westbound and eastbound Garden Grove Boulevard were closed as of 10:30 a.m. when the gas leak was reported.

The California Highway Patrol advised that drivers avoid that area until at least noon.

The cause of the gas leak was not yet released.
