Homecoming Celebration In Los Alamitos This Mother's Day: PHOTO
Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.
Home is where the heart is, and for this Los Alamitos/Rossmoor family, they are finally returning back to the place they love in Orange County. To get the keys to the new home on Mother's Day will just make it sweeter, according to mother Kris Pei.
"This picture was taken last summer at El Dorado Park," she said. "We are in the process of moving back after being away for almost 20 years."

Pei grew up in Long Beach and went to Millikan High School.
"My husband’s job took us to Northern California for almost 12 years, then Chicago for 8 years and now we are moving back into Los Alamitos/Rossmoor! We get the keys to our home this Mother’s Day!"

When asked to share a message for her family, specifically her "look alike" daughters, Pei shared this:
"I wanted to thank my girls, and give them a “shout out” for keeping me young! It’s been the greatest blessing to be their mom. In fact my oldest daughter Brittany was born on Mother’s day 22+ years ago! So we do have a bunch to celebrate this Mother’s Day!"
You do have a lot to celebrate this year, Pei family! Congratulations!
It's your turn, Patch readers — what traits do you and your mom share? Submit your lookalike photos by sending them to autumn.johnson@patch.com.
