"Brothers, sisters, friends, and family. It is with extreme sadness that we say goodbye to a fellow local 250 brother, husband, father, son, and friend," said Joe Vargas, who organized the fundraiser. "Let's all come together as only we know how to do, and help out our brothers family in this difficult time. May God bless and keep you all safe."
A close friend of Jimenez donated, and left a message saying:

"We swore an oath to help each other when in need, and nobody said anything as to when we should stop," Tony Martinez wrote with his donation. "Our condolences to you and yours. See you on the other side, Brother. Class of 2017."
