Knott's Berry Farm Announces 2021 Reopening Date

BUENA PARK, CA — The Buena Park amusement park, Knott's Berry Farm, will reopen Friday, May 21 — with limited capacity and required reservations— accompanied by a summer-long "100th Anniversary Celebration," aimed at reuniting patrons after a year-long closure due to COVID-19, management said today.

As Knott's reopens, park capacity will be limited and only available to California residents with reservations for single-day visits and season passholders. Ticket reservations go on sale April 26. Follow this link for details.

Season passholders can jump in early, and visit May 6 for a grand reopening.

Knott's was among amusement parks statewide forced to shutter in 2020-21 due to health-related mandates as California dealt with the coronavirus pandemic.

During the park's re-launch, Knott's will toast its 100 years of history, a celebration dubbed the "The Knott's Family Reunion," commemorating its early days as a roadside berry stand and chicken dinner restaurant in the 1920s. The fest will run through Sept. 6, with such new experiences as "Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair," a 4-D interactive ride that pays tribute to the classic attraction, along with a redesigned, illuminated K-tower, new costumed characters and evening entertainment with Knott's Summer Nights' live music, DJs and food and drink specials.
