Los Alamitos Crime: Pulled Over on a Bike, Hit and Run, Burglary

Editor's Note: This blotter is from the Los Alamitos Weekly Crime Summary from the city Police Department for Oct. 27 - Nov. 2:

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 11/03/13 – 1:54AM – 3500 Green – A report of a window pry to a residence with the loss of property which occurred within the past four hours.

DUI

• 11/03/13 – 3:50PM – Green and Los Alamitos Blvd. – a report of a reckless driver. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 59 years, of Long Beach for driving under the influence.

• 11/03/13 – 10:27AM – Bloomfield and San Bonito – a citizen contact. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 52 years, of Huntington Beach for public intoxication.

THEFT

• 11/07/13 – 1:38AM – 12100 Cherry – a report of an unauthorized entry into a vehicle that just occurred. During the investigation, six additional victims were located, three from Los Alamitos and three from a nearby city. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: Two Male, juveniles, of Hawaiian Gardens for theft, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and resisting/delaying an officer.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

• 11/05/13 – 10:40AM – 4000 Katella – a report of unauthorized credit card accounts being opened with the victim’s business information which occurred within the past two months.
• 11/05/13 – 10:13PM – 3500 Howard – a report of unauthorized use of the victim’s personal information which occurred yesterday.
• 11/06/13 – 7:22PM – 3200 Harmona – a report of unauthorized use of funds by a contractor which occurred last month.

MISCELLANEOUS

• 11/03/13 – 5:32AM – Farquhar and Maple – a bicycle stop. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 22 years, of Anaheim for an outstanding narcotics warrant.
• 11/07/13 – 3:42AM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Hedwig – an officer attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle. The driver failed to yield and the vehicle was pursued into Hawaiian Gardens where it collided into a center median. It was later discovered the vehicle had been stolen from a nearby city. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 22 years, of Hawaiian Gardens for possession of stolen property and obstruction.
• 11/08/13 – 2:15PM – Florista and Los Alamitos Blvd. – a traffic enforcement stop. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 23 years, of Long Beach for an outstanding narcotics warrant.
  
• 11/08/13 – 5:56PM – Katella and the 605FWY – a report of a hit and run traffic collision. SUSPECT ARREST: Male, 48 years, of Garden Grove for leaving the scene of a traffic collision.
• 11/09/13 – 1:12AM – 5100 Katella – a traffic enforcement stop. SUSECTS ARRESTED: Female, 32 years of Cypress for possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia and a Male, 31 years, of Cypress for an outstanding warrant.
