Rossmoor Family Remembers Melissa Roudabush And Baby Logan

ROSSMOOR, CA — A time of great joy turned to the deepest sorrow as an expectant mother and her child were both taken from their family in mid-January. Friends and family of Melissa Roudabush continue to mourn the loss of a young mother and her yet-to-be-delivered son, following a Pulmonary Embolism and blood clot to Melissa's lungs.

Melissa and Logan are survived by her husband, Tom, and daughters, Sarah and Jenna. A GoFundMe page was established for both funeral expenses and college funds for Melissa and Tom's daughters, according to the GoFundMe page manager, Lisa Pahl. As of this, nearly $40,000 has been raised, and their story has been shared over 3,000 times.

"Melissa was a young, funny, vibrant and full of life person who lit up a room everywhere she went," Pahl wrote. "She was a dedicated, mother, wife, friend and family law attorney who took pride in her work and helping in her community."
